KEYSTROKE RECORDER SOFTWARE
This type of software basically perform the same function as the key katcher but uses software to do it.You install the small program on the computer either remotely(through email) or locally and It will start to record .
Many such programs also feature other spying functionality such asscreen capture software, remote control software, or audio and video recorders.
But i personally prefer key loggers that stick to their main function as they will not slow down the target computer.
So choose carefully when you want one with multiple spying features and capabilities as most will often use quite a bit of system resources and might raise suspicion.
Pros:

Can be installed remotely (the good ones)
Cons:
More susceptible of being discovered(if target computer has anti key logging software installed) although good ones are harder to detect.
THINGS YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING A KEYSTROKE RECORDER PROGRAM
Good software keystroke recorders should use very little memory and very few CPU cycles, so as not to attract attention to itself. It should also be invisible to the person and computer being monitored. A good key logger will support remote installation and the ability to remotely retrieve keystroke logs.
There are tons of spy software out there claiming they're the best and are the hardest to detect and i certainly haven't tried all of them. Therefor a conclusion for a particular program can only be reached by taking this new knowledge and doing some research on your part.
