An example of a good test question to ask a spy shop

"According to your spy shop's web site,your wireless surveillance camera "X" is supposed to be able to run for X number of hours on a 9 volt battery.Is this number taking into account the transmitter also taking its power from this 9 volt battery?if not, approximatly how long will the camera run (on a 9 volt battery) in this case?"

This should be a very good indication of their degree of knowledge about the products they sell.

If they can't answer this, they just don't have the kind of first hand knowledge needed and are just relying on their manufacturer's technical sheets.
